Mantic is Featured in a Comic!

Mantic has featured in its first ever Comic!

Curis the writer met our Chris at Britcon, a trade event we attended. They spent a while chatting, specifically about our up and coming game, and it looks like Chris inspired this piece of work, as he takes a starring role:

Mantic Comic

Curis’s satire comics are always a good laugh, which cover a wide range of topical wargaming issues. To see any more of his work check out his website:

Hobbytastic Part 1

Hobbytastic indeed. As more and more Undead hordes rise from the ground, as more Dwarfs regiments come down from the Mountains and as more Elves show-off their fancy looking weapons, we’re seeing more and more people getting into the Wargaming hobby through Mantic.

Whether it’s project logs on forums or hobbyist generated guides and images, we’re hearing about people either getting into the hobby for the first time, re-discovering the hobby once again or people wanting to use our models in crazy projects (a few people have mentioned they’re doing something with Zombies, Ghouls and guns!) that they just can’t wait to get started on.

Well, as John from Beasts of War explains in this video, the Mantic Tools of War Assembly Kit is a great way to get started gluing and clipping some miniatures (and of course can be supplemented with a Paint Set… these things don’t paint themselves!) whether beginner or veteran alike. But don’t listen to us, why not check out BoW’s video below?

PS – it’s our go on the tank next ;)

Don’t talk about the…football!

Some of our friends over in Germany have been reviewing the Revenants. In doing so they have painted up a few models, and mighty nice they look too.

But no comments about the football, please!

Insider: Dwarfs!

One of the first to get their hands on the new Dwarf sprues, Beasts of War have taken a look over a sprue of the new Dwarfs!

A great review here from the boys using an early test shot, so don’t worry about the final product, there are no sink-holes in the finished product!

Thanks for watching, and drop us a comment below!

Mantic Skeleton Regiment Reviewed on The Hobby Compass

A new website has been set up by a friend of ours – Gabrio Tolentino – that will be looking at all aspects of the hobby.

Go and read his review of our new Skeleton Regiment, and take a look at his great site – although he wanted us to say it is still under construction, and will get even better!

Bad to the Bone

With the Undead release approaching ever closer, we’ve got a little something to wet your appetite…

On the website at the moment is our new advent calender, counting down the days until Christmas by revealing the full Undead artwork.

Until then however, we have a little treat for you. Below is the box cover for the Skeleton Regiment by Stef Kopinski. It really encapsulates everything we think ranks of grim, magically reanimated skeleton warriors should be. Click the image below for a more detailed look.

PS: And not to forget, Beasts of War have posted a review video of our Messenger Bag on to their website. Check it out here.

A Review by Oddcast

The guys at Oddcast have done a review of the our Kings of War Elves and Mantic Messenger Bag.

You can read the post and listen to the podcast here. Be adviced that it does contain a few explicit comments.

Beasts of War – A look at the Elves

Beasts of War have kindly produced a video review of our Elven Warhost.

At over ten minutes long, they’ve taken a thorough look through the components and have even built some of them to show just how cool a ranked regiment of Elves really is. We think they look great and they’ve done a fantastic job with another high quality production.

This video was embedded using the YouTuber plugin by Roy Tanck. Adobe Flash Player is required to view the video.

We’re very much looking forwards to working with Beasts of War on further items in the future.

Regards,

R
