By now you should all know that Mantic is releasing it’s own ruleset to use with it’s ever expanding range of fantasy battle miniatures (did we mention there’s a Zombie Week just around the corner?) and we’re looking for your help and feedback on making it the best fantasy game out there with our public beta!

Of course by now we all know the Cunning Plan that Ronnie and Mantic developed to ensnare Alessio but the Kings of War ruleset – exactly what’s it about? Alessio spilled the beans in a recent* interview with Beasts of War:

Ronnie is on a plane as we speak to this year’s GenCon event. Bigger, better and badder than ever, GenCon is touted as the best four days in the gaming calender, and Ronnie and Jim will be at stand 1415 and I’m pretty sure I’ve seen him leave with a Zombie three-up and some masters of new sculpts as well as a head brimming full of ways to divulge our release schedule for the rest of the year (again).

The guys will be there with some pre-release stock and all in all to talk all things hobby. Whilst we won’t have a set of rules to demo yet, both of these guys will be available to talk too about the new rules, what you like (or don’t like) about what you’ve heard so far and any cool ideas you’d like to see get implemented. And of course to wax lyrical about how super our new dwarfs are looking of course!
So far this weekend Beasts of War have added eight – count them, that’s 8! – new Mantic videos to their website, and the fun doesn’t stop there as they have even more new content being added today!
We’re not going to tell you what’s coming up today however, you’ll have to keep a beady eye of the BoW site but I can tell you if it anything like the other videos they’ve been putting out, you wouldn’t want to miss out!
